I PROPHESY!

ADENIRAN AYODEJI -

Yes! I prophesy

I am not possessed

I may fall down

You can't understand why?

 

Why always me?

Hmm! It's not my fault

It's a divine ordination

An election of grace

 

You watch me like a movie

You seldom criticize me

Oh! You make jest of me

I don't care!

 

You didn't call me

I didn't call myself either

It's a high calling of God

It is part of my DNA

 

Oh! I have tried to stop

I came to some programs

With a closed heart

Yet, I still can't withstand His voice

 

You may not understand

You may laugh at me

I don't care

Its an election of grace

 

Littered in scriptures are my heroes

The seventy elders of Israel (Number 11:25)

Even King Saul (1 Samuel 10:10)

A Chief Captain; Amasai (1 Chronicles 12:18

 

Loud and clearly they prophesied

So, say whatever you like

Once it is by the Spirit of God

I have no regret!

 

Let me remind you of more of my kind

Just to mention a few

 

 Prophesy is a Spirit (Revelation 19:10)

Prophesy is a Spiritual gift (1 Corinthians 12:10)

  A sacrifice is an offering given to God based on an understanding of His sovereignty, faithfulness and greatness. The 'word' sacrifice and offering are used interchangeably in the scriptures. Sacrifice is all-encompassing and can be used to describe every effort or input of a man to fulfil the demand of the Spirit. Offering on the other hand generally refers to the object or the element of a sacrifice. A sacrifice can be something done to prove your love for something. It could also be a way to sustain the relationship with a Spirit. It is NOT usually convenient in most cases. Sometimes, people have to go out of their way to make it happen.
